Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles Wants To Play The New Batman

Another actor has publicly stated that he would love to play the new Batman in the coming Man of Steel sequel from Warner Bros. with Jensen Ackles.

Star of CW’s Supernatural, Jensen Ackles, recently voiced his enthusiasm for the part of the new Batman, but realizes it could be just wishful thinking.

“Any guy in his right mind would die to play Batman,” Ackles told EOnline about playing the new Caped Crusader opposite Henry Cavill. “It would be a dream come true. I won’t hold my breath.”

Previously, Spartacus Actor Liam McIntyre said he was interested in the new Batman as well, and Cosmic Book News was told that Tyler Hoechlin will be screen testing alongside Henry Cavill for the part.

Zack Snyder announced the new Superman/Batman movie at Comic-Con which will go into production next year for a 2015 release also starring Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne with Christopher Nolan as executive producer.
