Superman marketing finally looks to be kicking into high gear as it’s claimed a 5-minute preview will be flying into IMAX theaters, playing in front of A Minecraft Movie.
The news also lines up with CinemaCon at the end of the month, and Superman Day being held on April 18th. April is also just three months away from the film’s release.
5-Minute Superman IMAX preview
We get word about the IMAX preview via X where a Thailand theater chain has apparently deleted a post announcing Superman in front of Minecraft.
Minecraft gets released officially on Friday, April 4 but will have Thursday previews, which lines up with the announcement of the Superman IMAX preview on April 3rd with Minecraft.

CinemaCon
Warner Bros. is said to have its presentation at CinemaCon on Tuesday, April 1st, which is the same week that Minecraft gets released.
It’s possible that James Gunn could show off that 5-minute preview at CinemaCon on Tuesday, which then gets released worldwide on Thursday.
Superman Day
Superman Day is April 18th. Warner Bros. has already announced they are celebrating with a one-day Superman-themed tour of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. It’s probably safe to say that James Gunn will be celebrating in some way, too.
When does the next trailer get released?
To date, James Gunn has only dropped that Superman teaser and the “Icon” TV spot. The rest of the marketing has basically been of himself at the Puppy Bowl and the NBA spot with David Corenswet and Shaquille O’Neil. April is also likely when we’ll get the next Superman trailer.
