The trailer for Super Troopers 3 has been released, bringing back the Broken Lizard crew for another round of absurd comedy, highway patrol antics, and total chaos.
This time, the story centers on Farva’s over-the-top Indian engagement to Thorny’s sister, which quickly goes off the rails.
At the same time, the Super Troopers are dealing with a new drug ring, while Thorny is working his own angle to break up the relationship.

What Super Troopers 3 is about
According to the official synopsis, Super Troopers 3 follows the return of “everyone’s favorite cops” as they try to stop a dangerous new drug operation while also getting pulled into Farva’s wedding disaster.
The biggest wrinkle is Thorny’s apparent effort to sabotage the engagement, which gives the movie a personal angle on top of the usual group chaos.
Broken Lizard is back
Jay Chandrasekhar directs Super Troopers 3, with the screenplay credited to Broken Lizard.
The returning cast includes Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske. Brian Cox and Marisa Coughlan are also part of the cast.
The ensemble also features Nat Faxon, Chace Crawford, Andrew Dismukes, Hannah Simone, Iqbal Theba, Sakina Jaffrey, Jon Rudnitsky, and Lisa Gilroy.
A long-awaited return
The original Super Troopers was released in 2001 and became a cult favorite thanks to its quotable jokes and loyal fanbase. Super Troopers 2 followed in 2018, arriving 17 years later.
Now Super Troopers 3 keeps the series going with another sequel, giving fans a new entry eight years after the second movie.
