The X-Men: New Mutants movie looks to be getting Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton as the mutant Canonball.
Game of Thrones‘ Maisie Williams is playing Illyana Rasputin aka Wolfsbane, “a girl struggling to reconcile her religious beliefs with her power to turn into a wolf,” and Split actress Anya Taylor-Joy as Illyana Rasputin aka Magik, “a girl who has learned sorcery and uses teleportation discs to travel.”
Rosario Dawson is also up for a role, and New Mutants will also feature Danielle Moonstar, Sunspot and the alien Warlock.
New Mutants, described as a horror movie, is being directed by Josh Boone and looks to film this Summer for its April 13, 2018 release.
A plot description reads as: These new mutants find themselves held in a secret facility against their will and must battle the dangers of their powers, as well as the sins of their pasts.
