Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 4 Also Fails to Crack Nielsen Ratings

The Nielsen ratings for the week Episode 4 of Skeleton Crew was released are now available, and just like the previous three episodes, the fourth episode failed to crack the Nielsen charts.

As I’ve pointed out on numerous occasions, Nielsen is the industry standard for ratings, and Disney+ automatically enables Nielsen tracking in its accounts.

With four episodes now released, it seems likely that Skeleton Crew might never make the Nielsen charts—a first for Star Wars on Disney+. It’s clear that Skeleton Crew is the least-watched and lowest-rated Star Wars series to date.

What are the ratings?

Nielsen released its charts for Dec. 16 – 22, the week Skeleton Crew Episode 4 was released on December 17.

At the bottom of the Nielsen chart is Special Ops: Lioness on Paramount+ with 326 million minutes. That obviously means Skeleton Crew Episode 4 came under that number. It’s worth noting that Nielsen measures viewership for all available episodes within the week’s timeframe, meaning the combined viewership for all episodes of Skeleton Crew fell below the 326 million-minute mark.

We’ve been comparing Skeleton Crew to the ratings for The Acolyte, which looks have played a big part in killing interest in Skeleton Crew and Star Wars. The fourth episode of The Acolyte also failed to make the Nielsen charts, the first time for the series.

And for the record, Andor‘s Episode 4 made the charts with 485 million minutes (Ahoska‘s fourth episode, 459).
