A new chart making the rounds breaks down IMDb ratings for every live-action Star Wars series, and it doesn’t paint a flattering picture for The Acolyte.
The Chart
The data visualization compiles every episode rating across The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, Ahsoka, The Acolyte, and Skeleton Crew. Color coding highlights the quality categories (full chart below):
- Elite (9.5+) – dark green
- Awesome (8.8–9.4) – light green
- Great (8.0–8.7) – green
- Good (7.5–7.9) – yellow
- Regular (7.0–7.4) – orange
- Bad (6.0–6.9) – red
- Garbage (<6.0) – purple

The Winners
Andor is the standout, with multiple “Elite” episodes reaching 9.5 and above. Most of the series sits comfortably in the 8.0–9.0+ range.
The Mandalorian also holds strong, frequently in the high 8s and low 9s, cementing its place as one of the most consistently praised Star Wars shows, though we do see Season 3 dips.
Ahsoka landed in the middle tier, scoring mostly between 7.3 and 8.5.

The Losers
The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi were mixed bags. Both series had episodes in the 6.0–6.9 “bad” range but also saw higher-rated entries that pulled them back into the “good” tier.
Skeleton Crew, still early in its run, has been middling so far with ratings around 6.8–7.7.

The Acolyte Gets Trashed
The biggest takeaway is how The Acolyte fared. IMDb users slammed the show with multiple episodes falling into the “garbage” category, dipping as low as 3.7. Most episodes ranked below 6.0, putting it far beneath every other live-action series.
For comparison:
- The lowest Obi-Wan Kenobi episode was a 6.4.
- The lowest Boba Fett episode also came in at 6.4.
- The Acolyte didn’t just dip into the 6s—it crashed into the 3s, something no other Star Wars live-action series has done.

The Acolyte is at the bottom of Star Wars
According to IMDb users, The Acolyte isn’t just weak by Star Wars standards—it’s in a category of its own at the very bottom.
While Andor and The Mandalorian show there’s still appetite for high-quality Star Wars storytelling, The Acolyte will likely be remembered as the franchise’s most poorly received live-action effort to date. Disney and Lucasfilm have since canceled the series.
