It’s learned a theft has occurred on the set of the new Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian, which is causing worry leaks might happen due to sensitive information being stolen.
Police responded to a theft call around 11am on Wednesday regarding a bunch of expensive equipment that went missing.
The Blast reports all hell broke loose on set upon learning about the theft, and that LucasFilm is scrambling to make sure no secrets from the series leak online.
The stolen equipment is said to possibly include a memory card, which would have sensitive information related to the show.
According to the report, the theft occurred overnight mainly dealing with equipment from the camera department.
It’s said both the police and LucasFilm are trying to locate the missing equipment, and that the main crew members dealing with the cameras have been grilled.
The Mandalorian Star Wars TV series is being developed by Jon Favreau for the Disney Play streaming app.
