Paramount+ released the teaser trailer for season three of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which premieres this summer. The trailer confirms the return of Captain Pike and the U.S.S. Enterprise crew and teases new adventures that push the limits of the series. Production on a fourth season is already underway in Toronto.
Season 3 Picks Up After the Gorn Cliffhanger
In season three when we reconnect with the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, still under the command of Captain Pike, they face the conclusion of season two’s harrowing encounter with the Gorn. But new life and civilizations await, including a villain that will test our characters’ grit and resolve. An exciting twist on classic Star Trek, season three takes characters both new and beloved, to new heights and dives into thrilling adventures of faith, duty, romance, comedy and mystery with varying genres never before seen on any other Star Trek.

Familiar Faces and Notable Guest Stars
The main cast returns, including Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn as Montgomery ‘Scotty’ Scott. Guest stars this season include Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, Cillian O’Sullivan, Melanie Scrofano as Marie Batel, and Carol Kane as Pelia. Paul Wesley makes a special guest appearance as James T. Kirk.

CBS Studios produces Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, along with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Executive producers include Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Henry Alonso Myers, and Rod Roddenberry. Goldsman and Myers continue as co-showrunners.
