On Monday, Kevin Feige opened up the Marvel Studios offices to the Los Angeles press, which saw lots of MCU details released.
While talking about Spider-Man: Homecoming, Kevin Feige let it be known that, in addition to The Avengers: Infinity War, Tom Holland and Spider-Man will be a part of the upcoming untitled Avengers 4 movie (via THR).
Kevin Feige also offered that the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming will follow Avengers 4 and comes out in 2019.
Avengers 4 is due out May 3, 2019, so it’s probably safe to assume that the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel hits Summer 2019.
Kevin Feige also offered up that plans for Spider-Man in the MCU only include up to the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel, so cross your fingers that Disney and Sony can come to another deal.
Regarding what’s known about the untitled Avengers 4, at one time it was titled “Avengers: Infinity War – Part II,” but Marvel has since shied away from the title citing it’s its own movie. It is still thought that Avengers 4 is more or less Infinity War Part 2 as it it’s been said Josh Brolin will play Thanos in Avengers 4, so we can guess it’s the final battle of Avengers vs. Thanos. Who survives is anyone’s guess.
