Space Marine 2 is getting a major update on June 26 with the release of “Siege Mode,” a free new PvE mode for all players.
Announced during the Warhammer Skulls Festival, the update also includes two cosmetic DLC packs for Season Pass holders.
Watch the trailer below.
What to Expect in Siege Mode
Siege Mode is a 3-player co-op experience set on Kadaku. You’ll face nonstop waves of Tyranids and Chaos enemies while defending an Imperial fortress. The mode pushes players to hold the line for as long as possible—until they fall.
Note: The trailer features footage of a Dreadnought mech (pictured below). Focus Entertainment responded to players asking if the mech is playable and said it’s not and that more info is forthcoming.
“Nope, the Dreadnought is AI support. You’ll know more about the gameplay mechanics of this mode in the May Community Update, in a week,” states the tweet.
The update drops for free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. PC players using Steam can try it early through the Public Test Server starting June 4. More details will be shared in the next community post.

Two New DLC Packs: White Scars and Blood Angels
Alongside Siege Mode, Patch 8 includes two new cosmetic DLCs for players with the Ultra Edition, Gold Edition, or Season Pass:
- White Scars Chapter Pack
Includes a Champion skin for the Assault class, three themed weapon skins (Occulus Bolt Carbine, Stalker Bolt Rifle, Combat Knife), and additional cosmetic options with heraldry for Successor Chapters. - Blood Angels Cosmetic Pack
Adds new armor pieces usable across all classes, plus markings for eight Blood Angels Successor Chapters.
Additional Offers and Community Access
The update goes live during the Skulls Festival of Video Games, where Space Marine 2 is available for up to 40% off across all editions and DLCs.
Players can also join the Focus Together platform to share feedback, earn rewards, and stay connected with the Space Marine 2 community.
