In addition to Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Sigourney Weaver returning for the Ghostbusters reboot, it’s learned another fan-favorite character is back as well — Slimer.
Actor Michael K. Williams revealed in an interview with EW.com that he has a scene with the green ectoplasmic glob of goo.
“I’m not going to lie, working with Melissa, and Kristen, and Kate, was really dope,” Willams said. “But I got to work with Slimer, dude. Like Slimer!!! I’m in a scene with Slimer! I’m a huge Ghostbusters fan and it was a dream come true.”
Michael K. Williams, known for The Wire and Boardwalk Empire, plays an FBI agent in the movie.
“Our whole thing is, we’re going to tell the people it was a flash in the sky and ‘Run along little women with your ghosts, we got this,” Williams offered.
