With only one more episode left to go, the Star Wars series on Disney+, Skeleton Crew, is once again missing from the Nielsen ratings charts. It’s failed to make the Nielsen charts with any of its episodes, including the two-episode premiere.
Not to beat a dead horse, but Disney+ automatically enables Nielsen tracking in user accounts, and Nielsen is the industry standard for ratings.

What are the ratings?
At the bottom of the charts for the week Episode 7 of Skeleton Crew was released is Prime Video’s Beast Games with 405 million minutes, which is up from last week. With Skeleton Crew missing from the chart, Episode 7 is less than that number.
Nielsen also measures all the episodes viewed within a given week’s timeframe, so again, no one is binge-watching Skeleton Crew, and no new fans are jumping on board.
It was the same for The Acolyte, which is confirmed to be canceled. Only the two-episode premiere, the third episode, and the finale episode of The Acolyte made the Nielsen charts.
Disney hasn’t announced whether or not Skeleton Crew will be getting a Season 2.
What’s next for Star Wars on Disney+?
We’re getting Andor Season 2 on April 22, 2025 which ends the series. Ahsoka Seaosn 2 is also in the works. Disney has yet to announce any new live-action Star Wars TV shows. The Mandalorian Season 4 also looks to have become The Mandalorian & Grogu movie from Jon Favreau.
