SDCC 2012: Comic Con 4 Day Passes Sold Out in under 30 minutes! Smooth Sailing!

SDCC 2012: Comic Con 4 Day Passes Sold Out in under 30 minutes! Smooth Sailing!

Tickets for the 2012 San Diego Comic Con went on sale today – and they went fast!

I used my iPhone to access the supplied link (couldn’t get on via Chrome on my CPU) and came it at around number 9500.

From there, the browser would refresh every 2 minutes and I would be taken down about 1100 spots or so.

All in all it took about 35 minutes from clicking the link to purchasing 3 sets of tickets.

I managed to grab two 4 Day Passes w/Preview Night, but when I went to buy a third – GONE!

4 Day Passes w/Preview Night as well as 4 Day Passes were sold out.

I was, however, able to buy tickets for individual days: Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sunday.

I guess in previous years, there has been a lot of trouble with the servers and such, but from my experience it went fine.

See ya at the SDCC!
