Save Hannibal Campaign Launched

Save Hannibal Campaign Launched

Earlier saw news that NBC had cancelled Hannibal following three seasons.

Now a “Save Hannibal” campaign has been launched by fans of the series as well as the producers.

Variety reports Hannibal is not going away quietly as producers Gaumont Intl. Television and Martha De Laurentiis of the De Laurentiis Co. are actively shopping the show to new buyers, ranging from digital outlets to cable channels.

It’s also reported Hannibal had plans to introduce the Clarice Starling character in Season 4, who was played by Jodie Foster in the Oscar-winning 1991 Silence of the Lambs movie.

A change.org petition has also been launched requesting NBC save Hannibal, which presently has over 12,000 signatures.
