Resident Evil Reboot Set Video Shows Fast-Moving Zombies in Prague

New footage from the set of Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil reboot has surfaced online, offering the first real look at the film’s horror in motion.

The video footage, shared on TikTok, shows a chaotic night scene shot in Prague featuring fast-moving zombies (or an infected mob) chasing a character down a snow-covered street. The follow-up video shows blood on the streets.

Zombies on the Attack

The scene takes place on a dimly lit street dressed in artificial snow, consistent with previous set photos showing Prague transformed into Raccoon City. In the clip, several actors portraying infected humans sprint toward a fleeing character before another fires shots at the advancing horde.

While the TikTok user added their own background music, fans quickly noted the intensity and pacing of the scene, which hints that Cregger’s version may blend classic Resident Evil tension with more aggressive action sequences.

A Darker, Game-Accurate Raccoon City

Earlier reports and interviews confirm that Cregger’s film is set within the same continuity as the Resident Evil games, unfolding around the timeline of Resident Evil 2. The director has described his approach as faithful to the lore while introducing an original story and new characters.

Release Date

Cregger’s Resident Evil is currently filming in Prague and is set to hit theaters on September 18, 2026. More behind-the-scenes footage and official stills are expected as production continues through the winter.
