The final trailer for Predator: Badlands is here, and with it comes confirmation that the film will be the first Predator movie to carry a PG-13 rating.
A new poster has also been released. Watch the trailer below.

A Predator With No Humans in Sight
Set in the future on a remote alien planet, Badlands follows a young Predator outcast named Dek—played by newcomer Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi—as he teams up with Thia, the upper torso of a Weyland-Yutani android played by Elle Fanning. Together, they hunt monstrous creatures across brutal terrain in search of the ultimate adversary.
The film lands exclusively in theaters and IMAX on November 7, with premium screenings including Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D, 4DX, and ScreenX.

First PG-13 Predator Movie
Badlands marks a big departure from previous franchise entries by aiming for a broader audience. While some fans may raise eyebrows at the softer rating, producer Ben Rosenblatt says not to worry—Badlands still brings the violence.
“Our hope for it is that it can be a PG-13 that feels like an R,” Rosenblatt told IGN. “We’re going to go as hard as we possibly can within those constraints.”
He explained that the absence of human characters plays into the studio’s strategy.
“We don’t have any humans in the movie and so we don’t have any human red blood. We think we’ll be able to do some pretty awesomely gruesome stuff—but in colors other than red.”

All-Aliens Carnage
Dek will go up against a variety of alien creatures, while the only humanoid forms are androids from Weyland-Yutani. That creative angle allowed the filmmakers to ramp up the sci-fi action without triggering an R-rating from the MPAA.
The new trailer shows off more of the monster fights, synthetic gore, and the strange buddy dynamic between Dek and Thia—all promising a fresh, weird, and violent take on the Predator mythos, even with a PG-13 label.
Let the intergalactic hunt begin.
