With Zack Snyder having departed the Justice League movie due to a family emergency, Joss Whedon has come on board to write additional scenes and direct Justice League reshoots in London.
Now an interesting rumor has hit the net stating Wonder Woman director Paty Jenkins is helping out with the Justice League movie.
The Redditor further claims that Patty Jenkins and Joss Whedon are collaborating on Justice League in order to do the work that is needed as fast as possible. Joss Whedon is in Cardington Studios in the UK working on Justice League while Patty Jenkins is at WB’s Burbank lot in the U.S.
While the validity of the claim isn’t presently verified, I could definitely seeing it being true, especially if Patty Jenkins is helping out with the Wonder Woman scenes. Possibly WB is filming with Gal Gadot in Los Angeles, as I think that might be her place of residence, while Joss Whedon is filming in the UK with Jason Momoa (since wrapped) as he is filming Aquaman over in Australia, and Henry Cavill might be involved in the London reshoots as well, as Cavill is a native of England.
Another Redditor in the same post claims the Batmobile has been spotted for Justice League reshoots in Los Angeles, which may mean Patty Jenkins is also directing Batman Ben Affleck reshoots, as Affleck is also a resident of LA. This would actually save WB time and money from having to send everyone to England.
“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.
Synopsis:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
