Legendary is promoting the release of Pacific Rim Uprising in Japan with movie posters that unite the Jaegers with popular Japanese icons.
The previous poster featured the new Godzilla anime alongside the Pacific Rim Uprising Jaeger mechs.
The new poster comes from Masami Obari, the Japanese anime director, animation director, mecha designer, and character designer.
Pacific Rim Uprising is now playing in Japan and around the world. The movie is directed by Steven S. DeKnight and stars John Boyega and Scott Eastwood.
Gundam was also recently featured in Ready Player One as a big-time Easter egg.
