Obi-Wan Kenobi premiers May 27 on Disney Plus

The series debuts on Friday, May 27 with the first two episodes, and that weekend the show will also be at Star Wars Celebration which takes place May 26-29 also featuring Andor, The Mandalorian, and more.

It could very well be possible that today’s trailer gives us a first look at Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader as the series is confirmed to reunite the pair in an epic battle with Ewan McGregor.

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, in which Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) faced his greatest defeat — the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side and became the evil Sith Lord, Darth Vader.

Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold.
