A first look at the upcoming live-action Minecraft movie has leaked online revealing a first look at Jack Black, and more.
Jack Black plays Steve in the movie who wields a pickaxe and sports the turquoise shirt and blue pants the popular character is known for in the game.
The Minecaft leaks also feature a look at a creeper, the green vertical-shaped enemies in the game who explode and due to their silent approach and powerful explosions, cause significant damage to players, structures, and the environment.
Additional leaks include a look at a pink sheep, as in the game, they are known for their wool, which can be harvested and used for crafting various items.
A bee is also featured which, in the game, collect pollen from flowers and can fertilize crops as they pass over, helping them grow faster. Players can also get stung by the bees if provoked.
The creeper, sheep and bee leaks come from from character art to be used for various merchandise packaging.

What is the Minecraft movie about?
Minecraft gets released on April 4, 2025 directed by Jared Hess.
According to IMDb, the plot follows the malevolent Ender Dragon setting out on a path of destruction, prompting a young girl and her group of unlikely adventurers to set out to save the Overworld.
Also starring in the film includes Danielle Brooks as Dawn, who looks to be new for the movie and possibly used as a replacement for Alex who was introduced later in the game after Steve as his female counterpart.
The additional cast includes Kate McKinnon, Jemaine Clement, Emma Myers, Jennifer Coolidge, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen is listed as playing Henry.
