Sony continues with casting on the Venom movie by casting Michelle Williams.
According to Variety, Michelle Williams is playing a district attorney and possible love interest to Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock.
It’s further said Venom will start filming next month, with Ruben Fleischer as the director and Riz Ahmed also cast in a role, but previously said not be for Carnage.
Venom will also not be involved with Marvel Studios or the Spider-Man: Homecoming movies, but Sony has hinted that Tom Holland will eventually be a part of their SpiderVerse movies which also includes an upcoming film for Silver Sable and Black Cat.
In addition, Sony is also currently developing an animated Spider-Man movie featuring Miles Morales, again not associated with Marvel Studios.
Venom is due in theaters October 5, 2018.
