Metallica is coming to Fortnite as part of the games Fornite Festival Season 4 on Thursday, June 13.
The details include James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo will be featured in the game. Watch the trailer and videos below.
What are the details?
“There’s a storm raging over Fortnite Festival!” announced Epic Games. “James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo from Metallica are the Icons of Fortnite Festival Season 4 — and they’re not just here to perform, they’re here to battle.”
The announcement continues, “Season 4 will introduce the Battle Stage, a brand-new, musical PVP experience in Fortnite where 16 players will enter, but only one can emerge victorious.
“Compete against your opponents across a four-song setlist to be the last one standing when the curtain comes down and it all fades to black. The battle begins tomorrow with the launch of Fortnite Festival Season 4!” says Epic Games.
“Each public Battle Stage match begins with up to 16 players, all competing to get the highest score on a randomly chosen song from Festival’s featured rotation,” states the info. “You’ll play the same track as other players but get to choose your song part and difficulty as you riff your way to the highest score. Owned Jam Tracks cannot be selected, so no one player has an advantage. The four lowest-scoring players are eliminated at the end of each song until there’s a single victor!”
