Marvel Studios Will Be At Comic-Con This Year

It’s confirmed that Marvel Studios will be at the San Diego Comic-Con next month.

Last year as a result of the writers strike, Marvel skipped the SDCC, but will be back this year, which takes place July 25-28.

Kevin Feige and Marvel always put on a big show at Comic-Con’s Hall H with massive announcements and guest stars.

Comic-Con happens to coincide with the opening of Deadpool & Wolverine, so it’s possible Marvel could bring something from the movie.

In the works on the movie side of things at Marvel includes Captain America: Brave New World (Feb. 14, 2025 release). Marvel did recently show off footage at the recent CinemaCon, so it seems likely the footage and/or trailer will be released. The movie stars Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Carl Lumbly, Danny Ramirez and Tim Blake Nelson.

Thunderbolts is also filming for its May 2, 2025 release, so maybe fans will get a taste of that flick. The cast includes David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Florence Pugh, and Lewis Pullman.

The end of July is also said to be when Marvel starts filming on Fantastic Four (July 25, 2025 release), which also coincides with the Comic-Con dates, so maybe Feige will show off the FF cast which includes Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

From Marvel TV, it could be possible the new Daredevil: Born Again series will see some promotion with Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Jon Bernthal. Marvel TV also has Agatha (Kathryn Hahn), Wonder Man (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and Ironheart (Dominique Thorne) as potential projects to show off.

Per the norm, Feige usually has new announcements, so maybe we’ll get an update on Blade, Avengers 5, and Avengers: Secret Wars.

I’ll also be attending Comic-Con, so lookout for my updates and articles.

Confirmation of Marvel Studios at Comic-Con comes via Deadline who says, “Following a sleepy San Diego Comic-Con last summer due to the actors’ strike, this year’s is about to explode with the return of Marvel Studios to Hall H per sources.”
