‘Amor Wars’ On The Backburner: Marvel Producer Nate Moore No Longer Attached

‘Amor Wars’ On The Backburner: Marvel Producer Nate Moore No Longer Attached

I recently doubted Armor Wars would happen, which was followed up by rumors that the flick would be canceled, and now it’s learned that Marvel producer Nate Moore has exited the project.

It was recently announced that Nate Moore is also exiting Marvel but will stick around for Black Panther 3, which I am also guessing is due to his contract.

Moore also produced Eternals, which bombed, and it’s not looking good for Captain America: Brave New World, which is reported to have gone through at least four reshoots, ballooning the budget to more than $300 million.

MCU's Armor Wars On Hold, Getting Retooled

What did Nate Moore say about Armor Wars?

While speaking with Collider about Brave New World, Nate Moore revealed he is no longer attached to Armor Wars:

“You know, that’s not my project, to be honest. But, I do know, as Marvel [Studios] continues to go through this phase, we want to make sure whatever we’re making is awesome. So that means we had to slow down some things that were on the front burner. It doesn’t mean we’ll never make it, but it does mean we just have to be a little bit more considered so that every time out, audiences are guaranteed quality.”

What do the rumors say?

The most recent rumors actually sound like Armor Wars has been canceled.

It’s claimed the script is getting rewritten because of the backlash surrounding Secret Invasion, which was another expensive and massive bomb. The series revealed that Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes has been a Skrull since Captain America: Civil War which means that wasn’t Rhodey in Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It also means Rhodey wasn’t there when his best friend, Tony, died. Now, who thought that was a good idea???
