MCU’s ‘Armor Wars’ Sounds Canceled, Claimed To Be On Hold

A new rumor claims the Armor Wars movie is on hold and is getting completely retooled but it sounds like the film may have been canceled. The project was originally supposed to be a Disney+ show then it was changed to a movie.

The rumors comes via Daniel RPK who says the flick is currently on hold and is likely to release after Avengers: Secret Wars which gets released in 2027 (so that means 2028 or after).

It’s also claimed the story is getting revamped and rewritten due to the backlash surrounding the Secret Invasion Disney+ series featuring it revealed Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes has been a Skrull all along and wasn’t there during Avengers: Endgame for the death of his best friend, Tony Stark.

What do the rumors say?

The rumors comes via Daniel RPK who says (via X):

  • The film is on hold.
  • It’s likely to release after Secret Wars.
  • The story will be completely different from the original plan.
  • The script is being rewritten due to backlash from Secret Invasion.

Is Armor Wars canceled?

I actually wouldn’t doubt if Armor Wars has simply been canceled.

For one, it’s adapting the popular storyline from the comics featuring Tony Stark. Fans are tired of replacement characters, just look at Captain America: Brave New World.

If Robert Downey Jr. isn’t going to be returning as Tony Stark in the MCU, I think they should “James Bond” the character and recast with a younger actor. Something like Armor Wars wouldn’t be a bad start. It’s a good storyline, it’s full of cool characters, and it would be full of action.

Armor Wars also comes from the woke era of Marvel, which hopefully, looks to be over soon. Nate Moore is the producer behind Armor Wars who was recently announced to be exiting Marvel. Moore is also behind Brave New World and the failed Eternals movie. Moore is the same bozo Marvel producer who said he won’t hire writers that read comics. They told the director of Secret Invasion not to read comics. How’d that work out?

The writer of Armor Wars also recently compared the project to Blade, meaning it’s happening and then not happening. The writing seems to be on the wall that Armor Wars is canceled.
