Marvel took over New York Comic Con 2025, unveiling a packed slate of live-action and animated series coming to Disney+ throughout 2026.
Hosted by Phase Hero’s Brandon Davis alongside Marvel Television and Marvel Animation head Brad Winderbaum, the presentation gave fans first looks, trailers, and cast appearances for five major projects that will anchor Marvel’s streaming slate next year.

Wonder Man Premieres January 2026
Marvel kicked things off in Hollywood style with the reveal of Wonder Man. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars as Simon Williams, an ambitious actor trying to make it big in a world filled with superheroes. He’s joined by Sir Ben Kingsley, reprising his role as Trevor Slattery from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
The eight-episode series follows Williams’ journey through fame, ego, and redemption as he tries to balance his career and heroics. Abdul-Mateen called it “a story about vulnerability and ambition,” while Kingsley described filming in Los Angeles as “a gift to capture the city where dreams are made.”
Wonder Man premieres January 27, 2026, on Disney+. Watch the trailer here.

VisionQuest Concludes the WandaVision Trilogy
Paul Bettany surprised fans by appearing on stage to debut VisionQuest, which will wrap up the story that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. The show follows White Vision as he struggles to reconnect with his memories and humanity after the events of WandaVision.
Joining Bettany are James Spader as Ultron, James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., and Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd. Terry Matalas, known for Star Trek: Picard, serves as showrunner.
Bettany explained, “White Vision’s journey is about trying to understand who he was and reconnect with those memories—but with lasers.” VisionQuest debuts on Disney+ in 2026.

Daredevil: Born Again Returns March 2026
The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is back. Daredevil: Born Again returns for Season 2 in March 2026 with Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Krysten Ritter joins the cast, reprising her fan-favorite role as Jessica Jones.
Cox teased a darker tone for the new season, saying, “The world has changed a lot for Matt and for superheroes in general. It’s a much more sinister world for people trying to do the right thing.” Ritter joked about her return, saying, “Jessica is back—and she looks cooler than ever.”
Marvel also confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is already in development.

X-Men ’97 Season 2 Arrives Summer 2026
Fans of the animated revival X-Men ’97 were treated to confirmation that the second season will premiere in summer 2026. Original X-Men: The Animated Series creators Eric and Julia Lewald and director Larry Houston are returning as executive producers, ensuring the show keeps its nostalgic flair.
The creative team teased new adventures for the mutant team while confirming that a third season is already in the works. The crowd at NYCC also got a glimpse at exclusive footage featuring the X-Men facing new enemies and shifting alliances.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Swings Back Fall 2026
Peter Parker is returning for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2, set to debut in fall 2026. Exclusive footage revealed that the series will introduce a familiar symbiote—hinting at the arrival of the black suit.
The show continues to explore Peter’s early days balancing school, friendships, and crimefighting, while setting up new challenges that connect directly to the wider Marvel universe.
