Marvel: Iron Man Is Now Mr. Emma Frost

Congratulations to the happy couple, as Iron Man will forever now be known as Mr. Emma Frost.

Marvel Comics has announced that “amidst the tragedy of the Fall of X… comes the superhero wedding of the decade.”

“Emma Frost and Tony Stark tie the knot this September!” states the announcement, where the covers reveal the happy couple will go by the names of “Mrs. and Mr. Emma Frost.”

Cover is a homage to Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson?

Worth a mention is that Marvel.com says the cover is a homage to the Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21 which features “Special Wedding Issue” in the left corner and doesn’t say anything about Mr. or Mrs., but we can guess since Iron Man is referred to as “Man” that’s why he is now known as Mr. Emma Frost.

Why this works, and how this works, and how much fun this is whether their marriage works or not will need to be seen to be believed and you’ll have to buy it to find out!” writer Gerry Duggan told IGN. “They certainly don’t seem like they’re ready to be married to anyone, let alone to each other, but life can change quickly.”
