With the Disney Plus series starring Oscar Isaac debuting next month, Marvel Comics follows suit and announces the debut of a new Moon Knight comic book series.

Details include the series will be titled Moon Knight: Black, White, and Blood and will kick off in April from writer Jonathan Hickman, with art by Chris Bachalo, about a Moon Knight from the future.

“Jonathan Hickman and Chris Bachalo introduce the Moon Knight of the future,” states Marvel.com “Get your first glimpse at an all-new Moon Knight, debuting in April’s Moon Knight: Black, White, and Blood.”

The art, seen below, features character depictions from Bachalo.

Moon Knight: Black, White, and Blood will feature stories by today’s top creators including acclaimed writer Jonathan Hickman and iconic artist Chris Bachalo,” continues the site. “Together, these two brilliant comic talents will take readers 6,000 years into the future to introduce an all-new hero who has taken over the Moon Knight mantle. This last living priest of Khonshu travels throughout distant galaxies to avenge his fallen god and master. Get your first look at the Moon Knight of the future in Chris Bachalo’s early character sketches!”

The first issue hits comic book stands on April 14.

Moon Knight premiers on Disney Plus on March 30.
