Out today is the Miracleman #1 reprint that comes recolored and lettered, and now we see totally reimagined.
From the following “before” and “after” we see that Marvel has gone and put some undies on.
Looks like Andrew Hickey says it best:
Oh dear. Seems like even though Marvel have put a parental guidance warning on the Miracleman #1 reprint, unlike the original Warrior comics or the US printings from the 80s, they still censored it (image comparison courtesy Lew Stringer’s blog).
This does not bode well for the artistic integrity of later chapters, especially when it gets to the very graphic birth scene…
