Following the casting of Zachary Levi as Captain Marvel, now it’s reported Mark Strong and Grace Fulton are up for roles in Shazam!
Mark Strong is in talks to play the villain in Shazam, possibly Doctor Sivana; Grace Fulton is said to be playing a friend to Billy Batson.
Mark Strong is known for previously being a part of the DC movie universe when he played Sinestro in the 2011 Green Lantern movie and was rumored for Lex Luthor in Batman vs Superman.
Grace Fulton has ties to Shazam! director David F. Sandberg as she played the role of Carol in Sandberg’s Annabelle: Creation.
I’m wondering if Grace Fulton will actually be playing Mary Marvel, which in the comics is Billy Batson’s twin sister.
Regarding Dr. Sivana, in the DC comics, he is a scientific genius and is one of Captain Marvel’s major enemies.
Shazam! will film soon for its April 2019 release.
