Mark Ruffalo Open To ‘World War Hulk’; Talks ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’

While promoting Thursday’s release of the She-Hulk Disney Plus series, Mark Ruffalo is questioned on the possibility of a World War Hulk movie and comments on Avengers: Secret Wars.

Entertainment Tonight attended the Red Carpet premiere held on Monday and mentioned how things could be leading to a World War Hulk storyline and asked Ruffalo if he would be up for a Hulk solo movie.

“Anytime they want to do it. I’m here,” replied Ruffalo as he pointed at the camera.

Avengers: Secret Wars will go out with a bang

Regarding Avengers: Secret Wars, which Kevin Feige announced last month at the San Diego Comic-Con as part of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga and is a huge story in the comics, Ruffalo was asked how he thinks it will compare to The Avengers: Endgame.

“It’s going to be hard to top Endgame but, if I know Kevin [Feige] and I know Marvel, it’s going to be pretty amazing,” Ruffalo said. “It’ll be a big bang. We’ll go out with a big bang.”

Ruffalo also added in a separate interview (via THR) that “there’s not going to be another Avengers without” his She-Hulk co-star Tatiana Maslany, which took the actress by surprise. What?” she said as Ruffalo confirmed, “That’s what I’m hearing.”

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law premieres Thursday, August 18 starring Tatiana Maslany.

Avengers: Secret Wars has a November 7, 2025 release date and follows Avengers: Kang Dynasty on May 2, 2025, which is being directed by Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton.
