Magic: The Gathering Movie Gets A Game of Thrones Writer

This past January saw word that Fox Studios is developing a Magic: The Gathering movie with Simon Kinberg and Hasbro producing the project.

Now it’s learned the movie has a Game of Thrones writer attached with Bryan Cogman.

Deadline has it that Bryan Cogman, a producer, story editor and writer on Game of Thrones, will script a potential franchise movie out of the fantasy card game Magic: The Gathering.

Magic: The Gathering is the popular card game created in 1993 that has branched out into every form of entertainment including PCs and gaming consoles.
