Lucasfilm’s New Sandcrawler Singapore HQ Already Working On The Avengers 2

George Lucas was on hand for the opening of LucasFilm’s new regional headquarters in Singapore where the building is modeled after the Sandcrawler, which is the iconic transportation vehicle of the Jawas from Star Wars.

President of LucasFilm, Kathleen Kennedy, was also present, in addition to Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers, where she revealed the Singapore office is already underway working on The Avengers 2 and Transformers 4.

The Singapore office works on animation and visual effects with it also said the office will be working on Star Wars: Episode VII.

The Singapore office also had a hand with the visual effects for the Iron Man movies, Pacific Rim and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. 

The Avengers 2 opens May 1, 2015; Transformers: Age of Extinction has a June 27, 2014 release and Star Wars: Episode VII is slated for December 18, 2015.
