As Shazam! continues filming in Toronto, it”s learned Lotta Losten has joined the cast.
Lotta Losten is actually the wife of Shazam! director David F. Sandberg and the pair also worked together in Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation.
“Yes! I have a role in Shazam!” Lotta Losten posted on Twitter. “I can finally say that! No! I can’t say anything else yet! But here I am with the director on set. He’s a great guy, I know him. (I love him! We’re married! I’m bragging!)”

Lotta Losten joins the Shazam! cast which includes Zachary Levi as the titular character, Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Ian Chen as Eugene, Jovan Armand as Pedro, Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Mark Strong is playing the villain, Dr. Sivana, and Ron Cephas Jones is rumored as the Wizard Mamaragan.
Shazam has an April 5, 2019 release.
