LexCorp Fate Revealed Following Batman Vs. Superman

Batman Vs. Superman Lex Luthor / Darkseid General Deleted Scene

Spoilers follow for Batman  Vs. Superman.

Not only did Zack Snyder release a deleted scene from Batman Vs. Superman, which helped explain what Lex Luthor was babbling about at the end of the movie to Batman (watch above), but now we learn what becomes of LexCorp following the movie.

During promotion of Batman Vs. Superman, WB launched a LexCorp viral campaign with web sites, video, NYCC promotion and social media networks. Now LexCorp has offered an update.

Spoiler Recap: After the heroes defeated Doomsday, a scene revealed that Lex Luthor has been put in prison (interesting if it was Arkham) and that while in prison, his head was shaved (is he up for he electric chair?). See images below.

Now as a result of Lex’s actions and imprisonment in Batman Vs. Superman, the LexCorp Industries Instagram account announces LexCorp is suspending their operations:

Due to unfortunate circumstances, LexCorp Industries will be temporarily suspending it’s global operations. When interviewed about his actions against a fallen alien, Lex Luthor responded with; “Ding, ding, ding, ding. Are we entering the second round?” We do not understand Mr. Luthor’s actions and LexCorp does not take responsibility for his actions. Thank you for being patient.

It would be intersting if they were actually paving the way for the return of Lex Sr., but a previous LexCorp promo did say he died. Maybe Lex Sr. simply disappeared?

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves.

Synopsis:

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
