While appearing on The View, Marvel star Letitia Wright is asked when fans will see more from Shuri and if Black Panther 3 is going to happen.
The actress first appeared as Shuri, the sister to the late Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa, in the 2018 Black Panther movie. Following the passing of Boseman, Letitia Wright took up the mantle as the MCU’s Black Panther in the sequel, Wakanda Forever. She also helped the Avengers take down Thanos in Infinity War and Endgame.
“There are some new Avengers movies on the horizon, and everyone wants to know if Shuri will be making another appearance in the Marvel universe,” questioned Sunny Hostin who also remarked, “We need it.”
Wright didn’t confirm anything is in the works and played coy all the while laughing and smiling.
“If it’s, uh, let’s just say, let’s just say… I would like to continue with Shuri. She’s one of my favorite characters, such a blessing, honestly, I kid you not. I’m so grateful for her,” Wright responded.
When asked about Black Panther 3, Wright only teased, “There’s a lot coming up.”
