Paramount+ has renewed Landman for Season 3 as Taylor Sheridan’s oil-boom drama continues to post huge numbers for the streamer.
Season 2 Breaks Paramount+ Records
Via Paramount’s official announcement, Season 2 premiered November 16 and immediately became one of the biggest titles on the platform. According to early Nielsen data:
- It’s on track to be a top three original series the week of Nov. 17.
- It’s set to be a top two series the week of Nov. 24.
- The premiere episode pulled over 9.2 million streaming views in its first 48 hours.
That’s a 262% jump from Season 1, making it the most-watched premiere for any Paramount+ original series. New episodes stream every Sunday.

Billy Bob Thornton Scores Awards Recognition
Billy Bob Thornton, who stars as Tommy Norris, also picked up a Critics Choice nomination for Best Actor in a Drama Series.

Returning Cast for Season 3
The series is co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace and features a loaded cast including Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, and Sam Elliott.
