Sony’s Kraven the Hunter movie a part of its Spider-Man spinoff universe is set to open Dec. 12, and now we get early word if the flick has a post-credit scene or mentions Spidey.
The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kraven, a man driven by a complex relationship with his ruthless gangster father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe). This troubled bond sets him on a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, pushing him to become not only the world’s greatest hunter but also one of its most feared.
There is no Kraven post-credit scene
Thanks to Cryptic HD QUALITY on X, the user has saved fans up to ten minutes of having to stay through the credits to see if Kraven has a post-credit scene.
The user states that Kraven has no post-credit scenes.
Kraven does not mention Spider-Man
Since Kraven the Hunter is technically tied to Spider-Man (at least in the comics) and a part of Sony’s SUMC, is there any mention of Spider-Man in the film? The “Kraven’s Last Hunt” comic book story happens to be a really big one.
Similar to the other Sony Marvel movies, Cryptic HD says there are no Spider-Man mentions, either.
No post credit scenes.

Kraven estimated to open lower than Morbius
Early estimates offer Kraven will be another big Sony Marvel flop opening at only $20 million. The number is half as much as Morbius ($39M) and not much better than Madame Web ( $15M).
Director says give Kraven a chance
As we just went over, Kraven director J.C. Chandor is well aware that not only the Sony Marvel movies haven’t been all that successful, but the DC and MCU movies as well. Chandor says to give his Kraven a chance:
“I don’t want to get too into the nitty gritty of it, but here’s what I would say: for me as a filmmaker, my number one goal, especially, quite frankly, over the last couple of years where you guys are deep in this world … some of the fans out there, a lot of the fans, were upset with certain decisions and certain outcomes [of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe]. Then with other films, they’ve gone on to be tremendous successes. So there’s been there’s been a mixed success rate. People have got to give us a chance and come out and support this film, and literally try to wash away some of the other stuff that’s happened. Give our film a chance.”
“And I think they’ll realize that we’ve done everything we can to give them a pretty fun story. You’ll see when the movie’s over, there’s potential for a lot of things to happen. But my goal was to isolate our movie, protect it, and just tell a good damn story. And then we’ll have opportunities to do a lot of fun things.”
