Kirsten Dunst Slams New Spider-Man Movies

Marvel and Sony are rebooting Spider-Man yet again this Summer with Spider-Man: Homecoming–and Mary Jane is no fan!

Kirsten Dunst, who played the girlfriend to Spidey in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies, tells Marie Claire UK that she’s not impressed!

“We made the best ones, so who cares? I’m like, ‘You make it all you want,’” Dunst says. “They’re just milking that cow for money. It’s so obvious. You know what I mean?”

Kirsten Dunst also told Variety last month that her Spider-Man is the best!

“I don’t care,” Kirsten Dunst says of the new Spider-Man movies and admits she hasn’t seen any of the Amazing Spider-Man movies starring Andrew Garfield. “Everyone likes our Spider-Man. C’mon, am I right or what? Listen, I’d rather be in the first ones than the new ones.”

Let’s just hope those rumors of Zendaya playing MJ are false!

Spider-Man: Homecoming opens July 7th.
