'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' Reveals Art and Cast

The next Planet of the Apes movie stands revealed as Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is the official title with concept art and the cast revealed.

Wes Ball is the director of the flick which will star Owen Teague as the lead Ape, Freya Allen (The Witcher) as the lead human, and Peter Macon. The movie starts filming next month.

“I’m thrilled beyond imagination. Can’t wait to start,” stated Owen Teague on Instagram when his casting was first announced.

Details include Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes picks up many years after War for the Planet of the Apes, the 2017 movie from director Matt Reeves that starred Andy Serkis as Caesar.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes gets released in 2024 and is produced by Joe Hartwick Jr. Jaffa, Silver and Jason Reed, with Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping executive producing. Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, and Patrick Aison are writing the script.
