Kevin Feige Teases Beta Ray Bill For MCU

Marvel Comics fans may have recognized theĀ Beta Ray Bill Easter Egg in Thor: Ragnarok.

Beta Ray Bill was featured as one of the Gladiator champions on the Grandmaster’s Tower.

Now it’s learnedĀ Ā Beta Ray Bill was actually at one time a part of the movie, but Marvel decided to cut him.

ā€œThere was a Beta Ray Bill, but it was so quick that you would have the same complaints that you have now. He was in it a little bit more and it just didn’t do justice,ā€ Kevin Feige told Crave Online.

The good news is that Kevin Feige at least hints of the possibility ofĀ Beta Ray Bill down the road in the MCU.

ā€œAnd the feeling is, if you can’t do it justice, do it later,ā€ Feige teased.

Beta Ray Bill is a Korbinite who actually proved worthy enough to wield Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, so Odin gave Beta Ray Bill the powers of Thor and his own hammer, Stormbreaker.

Beta Ray Bill is a huge fan-favorite character, so hopefully he appears in the MCU soon enough.

Thor: Raganarok has a November 3, 2017 release directed by Taika Waititi starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk/Banner, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Anthony Hopkins as Odin and Sam Neill in an unknown role.

Thor’s world is about to explode in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok. His devious brother, Loki, has taken over Asgard, the powerful Hela has emerged to steal the throne for herself and Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe. To escape captivity and save his home from imminent destruction, Thor must first win a deadly alien contest by defeating his former ally and fellow Avengers… The Incredible Hulk!
