Kevin Costner speaks on playing Jonathan Kent in Superman: Man of Steel (2012)

Kevin Costner gives us his first take at playing Jonathan “Pa” Kent in the Zack Snyder directed Superman.

Extra caught up with the actor at the Muhammad Ali Charity Fight Night and asked him about being cast.

While he didn’t say too much, Costner did tease us with:

“I’m not giving any trade secrets, you gotta pay… How much is it now to go to a movie?” the actor laughed. “I look forward to making that movie, throwing our spin on it.”

Costner also mentions making more Westerns and more, have a look.

Superman flies into theaters December 2012 directed by Zack Snyder starring Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel and Diane Lane as Martha “Ma” Kent.
