“I’m ready for Rogue”
Back in 2022, she went so far as to say that she’s ready to play Rogue.
CB.com asked her if her viral campaign to play Rogue worked and if she got to talk to Marvel, she replied the following.
“That’s confidential, sugar,” she joked referencing Rogue’s strong Southern accent. “No, I’m kidding. I don’t know. I just know that the fans, the way that the fans have me booked, honey, online, I got to do a gig every week. So if we’re adding Marvel to it, hey, let’s do it. I’m ready for Rogue.”
Kevin Feige going woke with X-Men?
It has been rumored and speculated for a while that Kevin Feige will be going with a woke approach to the X-Men in the MCU, which similar to how Feige and woke Marvel producer Nate Moore ruined Eternals, will see the characters changed completely to fulfill an agenda.
Rogue also happens to derive some of her powers from Carol Danvers, so who who knows? Maybe Brie Larson will be added to the mix, which would be fitting.
Feige already changed things up and made Ms. Marvel the MCU’s first mutant and demanded a change in the comics, so as Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel and Brie Larson as Captain Marvel have already bombed together in the MCU, maybe it’s the X-Men’s (X-people?) time next to be a big bust?
