The hardcore DCEU fans have been in an uproar ever since Justice League was officially released as it failed to live up to expectations on many levels.
For one, we can simply point to Henry Cavill’s mustache not being digitally altered to a good enough level – as it looked awful – with other problems ranging from The Flash and Wonder Woman “flop” scene to issues with the villain, Steppenwolf.
So the DCEU fans want the Zack Snyder cut to be released and have been petitioning WB to get it and often take to social media to “Release The Snyder Cut.”
There has actually been question if a Zack Snyder Justice League cut exists, and if it does, what form it’s in, as Snyder left the project early due to a family tragedy. Joss Whedon was brought on to write new scenes and due massive reshoots, but Whedon’s time was limited on the movie, which came off for some fans as lackluster.
Jay Oliva, DCEU storyboard artist and director of WB animated movies, has been taking to Twitter fielding fan questions and defending the Zack Snyder Justice League cut. Earlier saw fanboys arguing whether or not a Zack Snyder Justice League cut exisits, with Jay Oliva setting the record straight and chiming in that it does, that Zack Snyder showed it to WB execs, and that he has also seen footage.
“Yep it does. If it doesn’t then what did Zack screen to execs prior to Whedon?” Oliva tweeted. “If you don’t care for it then step aside because your just parroting what the bloggers are saying without any real knowledge or insight… That’s funny because the sequences I saw on set in London back in August of 2016 looked done to me. I guess I must not know what a finished shot looks like right? And you don’t know what your talking about…”
Jason Momoa said Justice League is good but the Snyder cut is better ! #ReleaseTheSnyderCut

There’s a snyder story but the idea that there is a complete snyder cut hidden away somewhere is laughable. They didn’t even have enough time to finish the graphics on the cut we did get. Let alone devoting extra resources to complete a cut nobody would see

That’s funny because the sequences I saw on set in London back in August of 2016 looked done to me. I guess I must not know what a finished shot looks like right Tim?

Well You don’t seem to know the difference between a finished shot and sequence, and an entire finished cut of a movie

And you don’t know what your talking about Tim.
