Justice League 2: Gal Gadot & Ezra Miller Talk Villains

Justice League opens this Thursday with advanced previews, and the hope is that fans will leave the movie wanting more.

Both producer Charles Roven and J.K. Simmons have mentioned Justice League movies, and now the Toronto Sun catches up with Ezra Miller and Gal Gadot to ask them what they think should come next–particularly with the villains.

Ezra Miller offers up he wouldn’t mind seeing the Injustice League featured in Justice League 2!

The Injustice League. I think I can speak for everyone in the League when I say that we’re extremely excited by the prospect of continuing this journey. We don’t really know for sure, and we’re usually the last people to find out, but … each of the heroes in this movie has specific nemeses, and I think seeing some incarnation of the Injustice League (which includes Lex Luthor, Joker, Deathstroke and more) would be something that DC fans would be pretty stoked about.

Regarding who Gal Gadot wouldn’t mind taking on, she offers Cheetah, who is actually rumored for Wonder Woman 2.

There’s so many good villains in the DC universe, but I would love to fight Cheetah. She’s a girl and that could be very interesting.

Justice League

I think the general consensus among fans about the Justice League 2 villain would be Darkseid. Obviously the first Justice League movie sets up Darkseid with the Mother Boxes and Steppenwolf, though we’ll have to see what happens at the end of Justice League to lead into other potential movies and sequels.

The Justice League cast also revealed their character picks for Justice League 2 including Ben Affleck offering up Black Canary.

Justice League has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder, with the story by Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder, the screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
