Leaked Joker Footage Shows Joaquin Phoenix Crying

Joker Leaked Footage Joaquin Phoenix Crying

More footage from the Joker movie has leaked online of the phonebooth scene which shows off Joaquin Phoenix.

As I said yesterday, which now looks to be confirmed by the following video, Arthur Fleck apparently gets some bad news over the phone, which just might be about a death in the family.

The video below shows Joaquin Phoenix in the clown suit speaking with someone on the phone and then collapsing. The crew then rushes over and shields the camera from getting a look at Joaquin Phoenix with the clown mask off.

Additional footage that has leaked includes Arthur Fleck seemingly arguing with another clown, and also of a subway riot scene.

Putting the pieces together, it seems as if Arthur Fleck gets a job as a clown with the Amusement Mile Carnival, there is some sort of political protest against the Wayne family going on in Gotham, and the Joker gets some really bad news over the phone. Of course, the scenes may not be shot in chronological order.

The Joker origin movie centers around the iconic arch nemesis of Batman and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of a man disregarded by society is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale. The film follows the transformation of a struggling stand-up comedian to a full-blown criminal force of nature.

The movie stars Robert DeNiro as a talk show host; with Deadpool 2’s Zazie Beetz playing a single mom who catches the interest of the man who will become the clown prince of crime; Marc Maron is the agent responsible for getting the Joker on DeNiro’s talk show, with the film also starring Frances Conroy and Josh Pais.

Joker has an October 4, 2019 release date.
