John Carpenter Pays Tribute To Rowdy Roddy Piper

WWE Superstar and actor Rowdy Roddy Piper passed away Thursday night due to cardiac arrest.

Piper starred in the popular 1988 John Carpenter movie They Live, which saw Piper take on a bunch of bad aliens pretending to be humans.

Now John Carpenter has tweeted out a tribute to the Piper including a link to the famous scene in the movie (watch above) in which Piper says, “I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick a– — and I’m all out of bubblegum.”

Carpenter also offered the following on Facebook: “Devastated to hear the news of my friend Roddy Piper’s passing today. He was a great wrestler, a masterful entertainer and a good friend.”
