Following Batman Vs. Superman, Jesse Eisenberg will be back as Lex Luthor for Justice League.
Eisenberg appeared at this weekendâs MCM London Comic-Con and confirmed the news (via Digital Spy).
âIâm kind of in wait,â he said. âThey just started filming Justice League, so Iâm kind of like waiting for my crack at it.
âI donât know what Iâm allowed to say, because I feel like thereâs probably some drone following me from DC, and if I say anything wrong I get, you know, picked off. But yeah I think so, and I love it, and I love everybody whoâs in it. You know, itâs a really talented group of people.â
Last we saw of Eisenbergâs Lex Luthor, he was a babbling idiot in jail, which saw Batman pay a visit. Audiences seemed so confused by the scene that Warner Bros. actually released a deleted scene days after Batman Vs. Superman premiered in order to help explain what was going on.
âJustice Leagueâ has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe in an unknown role.
