Jeremy Renner In Critical Condition After Snow Plow Accident

Jeremy Renner is in critical but stable condition after suffering a weather-related accident involving plowing snow, where the Marvel actor is now hospitalized.

The accident happened at a home he owns near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 25 miles from Reno, Nevada.

“We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today,” a representative for Renner told THR. “His family is with him, and he is receiving excellent care.”

Specific details about what happened are not known and the accident is under investigation but police confirmed they responded to an accident involving a traumatic injury with Renner the only person involved.

A public information officer also told THR, “Upon arrival, deputies coordinated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for medical transport of Mr. Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital. Mr. Renner was the only involved party.”

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office also told Deadline that Jeremy Renner is in “critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today.”

Update: Renner posted the following update and image on Instagram.

“Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all,” he said.

Update #2: Renner celebrated his 52nd birthday on Saturday and thanked the hospital staff.

“Thank you renowned medical ICU team for beginning this journey,” said the actor on his Instagram Story.
