Jena Malone has a mystery role in Batman Vs. Superman with it thought the actress might have been playing the female version of Robin, which appeared in the Frank Miller graphic novel with Carrie Kelley.
Malone further fueled speculation by posting images of herself with red hair.
Now it’s being rumored that Jena Malone is actually playing Barbara Gordon in Batman vs. Superman, but it’s stated by Latino Review it is unknown whether Malone will become Batgirl or Oracle.
Barbara Gordon, in the comics, has red hair as well.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
